THAILAND SUSTAINABLE EVENT MANAGEMENT STANDARD (TSEMS) 2020

Ratilanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai led by Mrs. La-iad Bungsrithong, General Manager received the certificate of Thailand Sustainable Event Management Standard (TSEMS), given by Mr. Napintorn Srisunpang, Tourism and Sports Vice Minister. The Standard for Sustainable Event Management in Thailand organized by TCEB (Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau) for internal management is vital for sustainable event organizers, and the ISO 20121 certification provides businesses with a framework to get the most out of their efforts. The event held at the Swissotel, Bangkok on 12 February 2020.

THE WINNER OF 12th THAILAND TOURISM AWARDS 2019, RATILANNA RIVERSIDE SPA RESORT, CHIANG MAI

RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai is awarded the “Hall of Fame” and the “Golden Awards” for “Luxury hotel of Accommodation Sector”. The resort has been receiving the gold awards in three consecutive years resulting the Hall of Fame award in this time. Mrs. La-iad Bungsrithong, General Manager of RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai received the prestigious 12th Thailand Tourism Awards 2019 presented by Mr.Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Tourism and Sports, witnessed by nationwide attendees from the tourism and hospitality industry.

The Thailand Tourism Awards recognizes operators of tourism products and services that are committed to sustainable operation and management whilst meeting the highest possible standards for quality.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand presented 94 Thailand Tourism Awards that recognize the Thai travel industry’s best and brightest for their excellence in delivering remarkable services and experience to local and international tourists.

Six awards were made in the Hall of Fame, and 88 awards under the Kinnari category were presented by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr.Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn.

The 12th biannual Thailand Tourism Awards 2019 presentation ceremony was held 27 September to coincide with World Tourism Day.

Tourism Authority of Thailand governor, Mr.Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, said TAT initiated the biannual awards project in 1996, and specifically organized the awards ceremony on World Tourism Day, as a symbolic gesture of recognition that builds awareness for responsible and sustainable tourism.

Khun La-iad Bungsrithong, the general manager of Ratilanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiangmai was awarded “Thailand MICE Venue Standard” and “Asean MICE Venue Standard, organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, (Public Organization) or TCEB launches accelerate the development of industry standards for Thailand’s MICE industry to support the growing market and promote the MICE industry leader providing standards and initiated the first country in the region.

OUR GENERAL MANAGER BEING ELECTED TICA BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2019-2020.

On 14 April, 2019, TICA held their first Board of Directors Meeting of 2019. Mrs.La-iad Bungsrithong, general manager of RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai being elected as a member of TICA Board of Directors for 2019-2020.
